The Clyde Walkway (March 19, 2013 post) was part of my north-south walk across Scotland in September / October 2011. It changed from tarmac to narrow, muddy trail to no trail at all — and back again. And from city to suburb to beautiful countryside. It starts in central Glasgow and ends near the UNESCO World Heritage village of New Lanark (pictured left). Highlights – leaving Glasgow on foot, the David Livingstone Centre, the Falls of Clyde.
